Crew Smoking Dope on a Plane

marijuana

Forget smoking cigarettes on an aircraft! This video shows what appears to be a Russian pilot and cabin crew smoking marijuana on board an airliner. Despite the fact I’ve seen reports of this as a freight aircraft – like that would make any difference – there are cabin crew, suggesting a passenger service – despite the fact that passengers are not seen (it could well be a dead-head sector).

I have no idea if it’s real or fake. The appliances in the galley don’t look like anything I’ve ever seen, the sinks are non-standard (more like something you would find in a home kitchen) – yet other areas of the galley appear to be genuine. There are a couple of shots where you can clearly see an area behind the crew that looks like the extended fuselage of an aircraft.

So, Is it real? Short answer – I don’t know. I’ve heard stories about Russian aviation that leaves me little doubt that this may be legitimate. 30,000 feet just isn’t high enough for some people.

Does anybody recognise the uniform; or can anybody translate the language?

Hi, I checked with a Russian friend and she says it’s Pulkovo Airlines (now Rossiya), and the plane is an Il-86. The bottle is also a Russian backstreet way of smoking weed. Cheers.

Remind me to never fly in Russia. From the looks of your blog I’m either going to a passenger to a dope smoking pilot or I’ll have to deal with sexually liberated bikini washing models in the back. It’s worth a trip to Russia just to find out what it’s really like.
